Foundations for Awareness

Jibreel Group learning is accomplished through open discussion, examples, practical exercises and scenario training. The Jibreel Group proprietary approach is a non-linear preparation and response methodology referred to as S.E.D.E. (survive, evade, defend, and escape).

Specific skills are encapsulated in modules such as; developing situational awareness, verbal disarming, weapons/firearms retention, countering deployment of weapons, surviving an ambush attack, active shooter preparation and active shooter response (run, barricade or fight). Participants will learn to understand the options and make the best decision for themselves in moments of extreme tension and duress. No more can be asked of anyone in a violent scenario.

Liability Focused Training

Jibreel Group considers it essential to integrate an understanding of how the law views violence and use of force through “last resort” tactics. In a self-defense scenario, individuals may be forced to make decisions that could have a tremendous impact on their lives and the lives of their family, friends or peers. Being aware of the potential second and third order effects of a violent action brings into focus the importance of preparation and sound decision making.

Lack of competence leads to fear,

Training leads to Confidence,

Confidence leads to Competence,

Competence combats Fear.
